The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to join the Automated Synthesis Facility. The role centers on maintaining operations and developing new methods for existing and proposed PCL Node instrumentation, configuring instruments, and integrating hardware to support proposal goals.

This position is part of a national AI-programmable cloud laboratory network aligned with the U.S. Genesis Mission.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Ph.D., M.D., D. Phil., or equivalent degree in organic chemistry with experience in chemoinformatics, ML, AI, or statistical learning.
• Pending doctoral degree may be considered with PI and HR approval.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations and develop new methods on existing and proposed PCL Node instrumentation.
• Assist with instrument configuration, integrations, and development of new hardware for proposal goals.
• Support Science Driver projects and data generation; contribute to national AI-programmable cloud lab network.
