Job description

Duties / Responsibilities

• Develop assays for the rapid molecular detection of azole-resistant strains of Aspergillus fumigatus in environmental samples and monitor antifungal resistance of human pathogens in agricultural environments. (75% of time)
• Communicate regularly with the PI regarding research and other issues relevant to the project. (10% of time)
• Present results to the scientific community and for publication in peer-reviewed journals. (10% of time)
• Train graduate students, undergraduate students, and other researchers in the lab on methods and techniques as needed. (5% of time)
