Qualifications

  • Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, physiology, pulmonary biology, pharmacology, or a related biomedical discipline.
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience in immunology and innate immune signaling.
  • Macrophage biology and inflammation.
  • Lung injury, ARDS, pulmonary fibrosis, or infectious diseases.
  • Molecular and cellular biology techniques.
  • Flow cytometry, microscopy, and animal models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include single-cell RNA sequencing, extracellular vesicle biology, metabolic analysis, or bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments in translational lung biology.
  • Analyze and interpret data; prepare manuscripts for publication.
  • Present findings at scientific meetings.
  • Contribute to grant applications.
  • Mentor graduate students and research trainees.
