Helmholtz Munich's Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI) invites applications for a Postdoc in Multimodal Optical Imaging Systems. The position focuses on developing next-generation imaging platforms spanning mesoscopic to microscopic scales and real-time software for data acquisition and image reconstruction.

You will collaborate within a national and international research network, drive miniaturized imaging technologies, and contribute to biological and medical applications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant natural sciences/engineering/optics field.
• Excellent track record of academic achievements.
• Demonstrated writing skills.
• Strong motivation and scientific curiosity.
• Hands-on experience with optics, fiber optics, sensors, miniaturized systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop a next-generation multimodal imaging system (mesoscopic to microscopic).
