Qualifications

• Ph.D. in plant biology or related field.
• Experience in molecular biology or genetics.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify candidate genes from published or available omics datasets.
• Grow, phenotype, and harvest pennycress in greenhouse or field.
• Perform photosynthetic measurements in pennycress.
• Generate and characterize pennycress transgenic plants.
• Summarize research results and write related manuscripts.
• Mentor undergraduates/high school interns as needed.
• Coordinate collaboration between teams.
• Contribute to related grant proposals with PI.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
