Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Plant Breeding or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience in genome-wide prediction, breeding, and disease resistance genetics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent multi-disciplinary research in plant breeding and genomics under CPBGG Director.
• Develop competitive programs integrating phenotyping, genomics, and field validation.
• Design and manage complex field, greenhouse, and lab experiments; analyze data.
• Establish and manage genetics and genomics laboratory including genotyping and sequencing.
• Publish findings, secure external funding, and mentor students and staff.
