Job summary

UC Irvine's Department of Neurology invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral scholar position in the laboratory of Dr. S. Ahmad Sajjadi.

The successful candidate will contribute to NIH R01-funded studies of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, with emphasis on neuroimaging analysis (MRI +/- PET) and data interpretation. Strong skills in neuroimaging software, excellent organization, and communication are required. The role is highly collaborative and in-person work is preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD by, or prior to, appointment start date.
• Strong skills in neuroimaging analysis and data handling.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to NIH R01–funded studies of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
• Perform neuroimaging analysis using MRI and PET data.
• Collaborate with lab team; communicate findings effectively.
