UC Irvine's Neurology Department invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar – Clinical Neuroscience Research. This in-person role at the Irvine campus focuses on Alzheimer's disease, other dementias, migraines, neuroepidemiology, and neurodegenerative disorders, with large biomedical datasets and predictive modeling.

PhD within the last 3 years, expertise in neuroscience/epidemiology/computer science, and proficiency in R or Python are required; strong publication record is preferred.

Qualifications

• Recent or anticipated Ph.D. or equivalent degree (within the last 3 years).
• Expertise in Neuroscience, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python programming.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with evidence in peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Responsabilités

• Analyze large-scale datasets from cohorts and clinical trials, including longitudinal data.
• Develop and implement predictive models and advanced analytical tools.
• Summarize findings and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Contribute to grant writing and the development of clinical research studies.
• Provide mentorship to junior researchers and oversee lab operations.
• Collaborate with faculty on projects involving biomarkers, digital health platforms, and neuroinformatics.
