Job summary

UC Irvine's Department of Neurology invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral scholar position in the laboratory of Dr. S. Ahmad Sajjadi.

The successful candidate will contribute to NIH R01-funded studies of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, with emphasis on neuroimaging analysis (MRI +/- PET) and data interpretation. Strong skills in neuroimaging software, excellent organization, and communication are required. The role is highly collaborative and in-person work is preferred.

Position Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in the laboratory of Dr. S. Ahmad Sajjadi MD, PhD. The appointment is for two years with the possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance. The successful applicant will contribute to research supported by NIH R01 grants dedicated to studies of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The role requires strong skills in neuroimaging analysis (MRI +/- PET scan), proficiency with neuroimaging software packages, and excellent organizational and communication skills. The position is an effective team player, highly organized, and innovative. A willingness to work in person is desirable.
