The University of Arizona's Duhamel Lab (Marine Microbial Ecology and Biogeochemistry) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead NSF-funded laboratory research on prasinophyte mixoplankton and phosphorus limitation. You will design and conduct steady-state cultures, perform radioisotope tracer analyses, and collaborate with Susquehanna University.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant field conferred by the start date.
• Experience in marine microbial ecology research.

Responsibilities

• Lead NSF-funded laboratory research on prasinophyte mixoplankton and phosphorus limitation.
• Design, set up, and operate continuous cultures; monitor growth and sampling.
• Perform radioisotope tracer experiments and physiological measurements.
• Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor undergraduate researchers and coordinate collaborations with Susquehanna University.
