Job summary

The role uses CRISPR/morpholino tools, transcriptomics, 3D imaging, and computational modeling to uncover fundamental morphogenesis processes.

The candidate will lead experiments, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and collaborate across disciplines while mentoring junior researchers in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Developmental/Molecular Biology is required or strongly preferred.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience with developmental biology models and gene editing.
• Ability to design and execute independent research projects.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and conduct research on left-right asymmetry in digestive tract development.
• Utilize gene misexpression strategies (CRISPR/morpholino) and transcriptomics.
• Perform or supervise 3D imaging and computational modeling.
• Manage project milestones and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare manuscripts and present findings at conferences.
