Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Molecular Biomedical Sciences to advance translational GI biology. The lab uses ex vivo intestinal perfusion models to study epithelial recovery after injury and to explore microenvironment roles in regeneration.

The successful candidate will design and execute experiments, apply ELISAs and sequencing, and collaborate across disciplines. Strong communication and publication records are desired.

Qualifications

Advanced academic training in cell biology and related biomedical sciences.
Experience with intestinal stem cells and epithelial biology.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

Manage, process, and analyze studies using ex vivo intestinal perfusion models.
Optimize assays for injury response using ELISAs and high-throughput sequencing.
Collaborate with scientists from diverse backgrounds in a collaborative environment.
Conduct experiments, author primary research articles, and present progress at meetings.
