Job summary

University of Cincinnati seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow in the College of Medicine to advance mechanistic and translational liver disease research, focusing on MASLD, MASH, and hepatocellular carcinoma. The incumbent will use in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro models under the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities include data analysis, manuscript preparation, and collaboration with faculty to uncover disease mechanisms and identify therapeutic targets.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in the appropriate field or discipline.
• Proven track record of first‑author publications in peer‑reviewed journals, specifically within liver research or closely related fields.
• Extensive experience handling mouse research, liver function assays, and related liver gene delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research experiments in the field of cancer biology and liver disease.
• Gather and analyze data, and develop new ideas to promote current research.
• Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts and presentations of results.
