Job summary

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a Research Assistant to support the College of Medicine's Department of Cancer Biology. The role involves coordinating laboratory projects, performing in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro work to explore MASLD, MASH, and HCC mechanisms, and contributing to data-driven insights under PI supervision.

Responsibilities include conducting experiments, recording results, data interpretation, and participating in animal husbandry, with opportunities to advance skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
• Additional related work experience may be required depending on field or discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments and record data according to research protocols.
• Interpret data and assist in judging validity of data. May perform statistical and graphical analysis of data.
• Assist in animal colony management and animal husbandry.
• Apply research principles for less complex assignments.
