University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a Postdoctoral fellow position in a multidisciplinary team focused on neuronal identity, glial plasticity, neural regeneration and neurodegeneration. The Hoang lab emphasizes retinal and brain regeneration, with projects on Müller glia, astrocyte-to-neuron reprogramming, and gene- and cell-based therapies.

Formación

• Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent in neuroscience, molecular biology, cell biology or related field.
• Strong publication record and scientific rigor.
• Ability to independently design, execute, analyze and communicate research.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• Experience with neural development, glial biology, genomics, or gene therapy is desirable.
• Experience with mouse or zebrafish models and visual research is desirable.

Responsabilidades
