Job summary

The University at Buffalo invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in Chemical & Biological Engineering. You will join the Monje Group to advance computational research on lipid biophysics, membrane biophysics, and biomolecular mechanisms using state-of-the-art simulations.

You will develop and apply advanced modeling and data‑driven approaches, collaborate with experimental and computational colleagues, and contribute to high‑impact publications in structural biology and biophysics.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field with biomolecular simulation and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience with molecular modelling and enhanced sampling.
• Familiarity with HPC, including GPU-based computing, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced simulation techniques to study lipids in biomembranes.
• Collaborate with experimental and computational researchers to advance understanding of biophysical mechanisms.
• Contribute to high-impact publications in structural biology and biophysics.
