Job summary

Genentech, a member of the Roche family, seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to develop edge algorithms for single-cell genomics, spatial data, and perturbation screens, to decipher cellular and multicellular programs in health and disease.

You will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and work on independent projects with partnerships across Research & Development, advancing computational biology and its applications in medicine.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with strong computational background.
• Demonstrated record of innovative scientific accomplishments with at least one first-author or co-first author key paper.
• Ability to present results clearly to cross-disciplinary audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop edge algorithms for single-cell genomics, spatial data, and perturbation screens.
• Work on independent projects leveraging collaborations within Genentech Research & Development.
• Collaborate across groups to tackle health and disease problems.
