The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Surgery, in collaboration with Hollings Cancer Center, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to study hepatocellular carcinoma, tumor immunology, and cancer metabolism. The lab uses mouse models, multiparameter flow cytometry, and single-cell technologies to understand how inflammation and metabolism shape tumor immunity.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent research background.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with mouse cancer models and in vivo experiments.
• Practical experience with multiparameter flow cytometry and immune cell assays.

Responsabilités

• Conduct mouse HCC experiments including tumor implantation and therapy.
• Perform flow cytometry, cell isolation, staining, and analysis of tumor-infiltrating immune cells.
• Conduct RNA isolation, PCR/qPCR, IHC/IF, and prepare samples for single-cell RNA sequencing.
• Analyze data, generate figures, draft manuscripts, and contribute to grant proposals.
• Collaborate on experimental planning and multidisciplinary research efforts.
