The candidate will synthesize active materials, assemble cells, perform electrochemical tests, and analyze data using XRD, EM, and spectroscopy.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience synthesizing and/or processing battery materials.
• Experience assembling and testing electrochemical cells under inert conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; peer-reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and process battery materials and electrode composites.
• Fabricate and test electrochemical cells (coin, pouch, etc.).
• Conduct galvanostatic cycling and impedance spectroscopy.
• Characterize materials using XRD, EM, and spectroscopy.
• Mentor students and contribute to grants and publications.
