• Graduate of an accredited RN program and licensed to practice as a RN.
• Ability to assess and plan care appropriate to patient age and unit standards.
• Clear, concise communication with patients, families and staff.

• Obtains and records initial assessments and sets priorities by patient age and symptoms.
• Reassesses patients to identify progress needing intervention.
• Develops and implements a measurable plan of care within nursing standards.
• Makes nursing decisions based on data, adjusts plan as needed.
• Participates in patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Implements timely interventions and documents care.
• Evaluates the plan of care.
• Performs Point of Care testing procedures.
