Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASIC Engineer to define, model, design, optimize, verify, and document IP for high-performance, low-power SoCs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine product execution paths.

The role focuses on post-silicon validation, emulation management, and automation, leveraging Python scripting and C programming to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years ASIC design/verification experience.
• Exposure to mobile chip architecture and RTL basics; knowledge of PVT testing and data extraction.
• Experience debugging hardware/software issues with JTAG/kernel debuggers (e.g., Lauterbach).
• Strong programming/scripting in C and Python; familiarity with prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform Silicon bring-up, measure Vmin/Fmax, power and thermal data across PVTs.
• Debug hardware/software issues using JTAG and kernel debuggers; analyze failures.
• Manage emulation builds, run tests, and coordinate with CAD/RTL/Design teams.
• Automate validation flows and data analysis using Python or similar languages.
