OpenRouter is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for their post-sales team in New York. The ideal candidate will help customers implement and adopt their AI inference platform, providing technical support and driving successful outcomes.

This role requires strong software engineering skills and experience working closely with customers. You will troubleshoot integrations and design solutions to optimize model usage and increase adoption.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to debug code.
• Experience with APIs, SDKs, and AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding for new customers after contract close.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Build strong technical relationships with customer developers and teams.
