Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services in Fort Myers, FL seeks a Solution Engineer to create post-sale security system designs, engineering documentation, and submittals. You will translate pre-sale designs into detailed drawings and specifications, collaborating with Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Operations to ensure compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Electronic security systems design/engineering experience: 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of security system design best practices and product applicability.
• Experience with video surveillance, access control, PSIM and related systems.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple large projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and update post-sale engineering packages with device layouts and network designs.
• Develop and maintain as-built documentation over project lifecycles.
• Prepare and update project submittals per architect/engineer requirements.
• Ensure value engineering while maintaining compliance and reducing costs.
• Review proposals for product applicability and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure functionality of selected products.
• Adhere to AUTS installation standards and internal guidelines.
• Utilize the engineering document library and templates.
