*Post-Press, Print Production Technician*

*Location: *Greensboro, NC

*Description:* We are seeking a Print Production Technician to assist with all post-press asset printing, including large signs, displays, merchandise, and more. The role involves producing high-quality graphics and tailoring products to meet specifications, time constraints, and budget requirements. The technician will perform measurements and calculations, make accurate prints and cuts, and ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

*Responsibilities:*

1. Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including parts, tools, and machinery. Perform regular housekeeping between projects.
2. Verify that art proofs match print-ready files, check quantities and critical alignments, and load files into RIP for size verification. Determine necessary adjustments and finishing requirements.
3. Understand each project thoroughly before execution. Communicate effectively with other departments to clarify any questions.
4. Transfer prints from transfer paper to fabric accurately, ensuring correct size, proportions, and no defects such as waste, creases, bubbles, pulls, or distortions.
5. Apply vinyl to substrates or structures precisely, adhering to specifications, timelines, and budgets, while avoiding waste and defects.
6. Measure structures and fabrics, and calculate cuts accurately to minimize waste and rework.
7. Make precise cuts of materials for tailoring.
8. Produce high-quality sewn products and assemble final products, verifying specifications and quality.
9. Assemble in-stands that fit graphics properly and function correctly, conducting quality control checks.
10. Apply laminate according to specifications without errors.
11. Disassemble and pack graphic builds like portables and banner stands efficiently.
12. Assemble and disassemble standard kitted products, understanding safety and show regulations, for sizes up to 10x10 and larger.
13. Assist manufacturing with larger builds when needed.

*Experience Level:* Intermediate

*Pay and Benefits:* The pay range is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
