Deluxe Manufacturing Operations LLC in Townsend, MA is seeking a General Bindery Operator for a 3rd shift role. You will operate Advent equipment, perform set-ups, and monitor job instructions to meet quality standards.

The position requires attention to ink balance, color matching, and efficient handling of orders. Applicants should have 18+ years, basic PC skills, and at least 3 years of warehouse experience with plating exposure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Advent Machine and perform general bindery tasks.
• Complete press set-up efficiently; verify orders and generate labels.
• Ensure ink density, balance, color matching to meet requirements.
• Resolve production issues and inform the Team Manager when needed.

This is a third shift position in the Custom Bindery. Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am $3000 Retention Bonus

Operates moderately complex post-press equipment of intermediate to advanced difficulty. Typically requires preventive maintenance functions to be performed. Likely to utilize basic to intermediate computer systems in the completion of duties. Equipment operators at this level typically process multiple product types.

• General Bindery Operator duties include Advent Machine operation, Cutting, Handwork, 3 hole drilling, and packing.
• Perform a complete set-up of the press in an efficient manner, which may include: monitor/maintain equipment, a stock area with supplies, check order shipments, stamp and proofread customer orders and generate labels.
• Determine and understand all order instructions and running of press productively while, meeting job requirements of ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations.
• Resolve production issues by altering process to meet additional specifications and notify Team Manager to obtain additional information or resources as required.

Basic Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience: HS/GED and 3 years of warehouse experience. 1 year of plating experience. Strong PC knowledge. Strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
