Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join a learning and growing team on the 2100 Inpatient Unit (Orthopedic, Spine, Urology and Plastic Surgery). The role is evening shifts (3/12), with every 4th weekend and one summer/winter holiday annually.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care needs and medications.
• Promotes patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
