Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in acute care settings within the Pre Operation Post Recovery department.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegate tasks, participate in process improvement, and support safety, quality, and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred and required after 5 years.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week in a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate responses and revise plan with the care team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement to improve quality and safety.
• Operations: support safety, quality and efficiency in daily duties.
