Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an M&A Integration Manager to orchestrate the successful integration of acquired CPA and professional services firms. Lead as the central project owner from LOI to post-close, coordinating people, processes, technology and culture with a focus on minimal client disruption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in business-adjacent field.
  • 5+ years leading complex cross-functional projects in CPA, advisory, or professional services.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • PMP, CAPM, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma or similar certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end post-merger integration activities across multiple acquisitions with detailed plans and milestones.
  • Coordinate integration activities from pre-close planning through stabilization.
  • Support transition from due diligence to post-close execution following the firm's playbooks.
  • Facilitate recurring integration meetings and executive steering committees.
  • Monitor project health, timelines, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues with solutions.
  • Prepare executive presentations and status updates; build trusted relationships with firm leadership.
  • Foster adoption of firm standards, systems, and best practices; capture lessons learned.
