Job summary

Scott & Associates, PC is seeking a Post Judgment Supervisor to lead the Plano, TX-based post-judgment team. The role focuses on reviewing files, determining enforcement actions, and generating court documents to support garnishments and other collections activities.

The candidate will supervise processes, maintain case data, and liaise with courts, enforcement officers, and clients while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. A paralegal background and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a leadership role.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to work with databases and online platforms.
• Paralegal degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Knowledge of legal principles and legal terminology.

• Ability to manage conflicting time demands with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review post-judgment files to determine enforcement actions.

• Serve as subject matter expert on post-judgment matters.
• Assist in training and oversight of post-judgment team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Post Judgment Manager.

Post Judgment Supervisor

Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Hourly

We are seeking a motivated Post Judgment Supervisor to join our Plano, TX-based team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review post-judgment files to determine what, if any, enforcement action is appropriate
• Confirm any information regarding consumers’ assets/income prior to commencement of enforcement activity
• Generate enforcement documents in accordance with the forms, policies, and procedures provided by the Legal Operations department
• Submit enforcement documents to the court, marshal or sheriff for processing electronically, directly or indirectly
• Supervise and track enforcement processes and documents
• Enter and post all enforcement data into the firm’s case management system
• Communicate with enforcement officers, courts, banks, employers, attorneys and consumers about garnishment accounts
• Import all enforcement imaging into the firm’s case management system
• Act as the subject matter expert on all post judgment matters
• Assist in the training and oversight of all post judgment team members
• All other duties as designated by the Post Judgment Manager

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Minimum of three year of relevant experience in a leadership role

• Paralegal degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Knowledge of legal principles and legal terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible
• Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up
• Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer
• Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format
• Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
