Job summary

BillionToOne, a Nasdaq-listed genomics leader headquartered in Menlo Park, seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations in its first full year of SOX 404(b) compliance. You will lead the GL/AP teams, coordinate with external auditors, and deliver monthly management reports with flux analyses and cost-per-test economics.

The role requires 8–10+ years in progressive accounting, CPA, and deep US GAAP fluency, with post-IPO experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA required with deep US GAAP fluency.
• Hands-on SOX 404(b) experience as a control owner.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong NetSuite experience; SuiteQL knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: manage month-end and quarter-end close with a gated calendar in FloQast.
• General Ledger Oversight: ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in NetSuite.
• Internal Controls (SOX 404(b)): own control narratives and remediation; coordinate with partners.
• Audit & Compliance: main contact for Big 4 auditors; manage PBC requests.
• Financial Reporting & Flux Analysis: own monthly management reporting; conduct flux analysis.
• Team Leadership: mentor GL and AP accountants; develop team.
• Technical Accounting: ASC 842 lease accounting, ASC 730 R&D costs, and IBNR reserves.
• Process Improvement: accelerate close and ensure compliance.
• Procure-to-Pay Controls: oversee vendor master and disbursement controls.
