Job Title: Full-Time Post-Harvest Technician

Our next Full-Time Post-Harvest Technician will be responsible for preparing medical cannabis products for distribution within our Trimming and Packaging Departments at TerrAscend.

This position will be on-site at our Waterfall, PA facility.

Environmental Factors

• This position requires working in an environment with high plant matter and pollen, with areas reaching high/low temperatures and high humidity. Employees may be exposed to dust, plant matter, and particles affecting respiratory system, eyes, or skin. Protective gear is required, and eye/ear protection is optional. Some areas use harsh chemicals like bleach and involve repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable working under these conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs
• Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and walking for extended periods
• Use of hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects
• Ability to work with hazardous chemicals following safety guidelines
• Use of chemicals like bleach for cleaning and maintenance
• Must wear PPE, non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection

Responsibilities

• Timely trimming and hand manicuring of medical cannabis
• Creation and packaging of medical Cannabis Flower and Pre-Roll products
• Work efficiently to increase productivity
• Maintain accuracy and promote quality
• Keep the trimming/packaging area organized and clean
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including state regulations and security protocols
• Label and record inventory data
• Assist with harvest and curing process
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Adhere to company and state policies and regulations
• Meet state age requirements
• Accountable, proactive, with strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of cannabis
• Familiarity with production and warehouse procedures
• Excellent computer, math, language, and reasoning skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-year experience preferred
• High level of integrity
