Job summary

AYR Wellness, Inc. is seeking a Post Harvest Lead in Florida to oversee the weighing, inspection, and tracking of cannabis flower for packaging. You will guide the team, ensure accurate inventory inputs, and maintain high quality throughout harvesting, curing, and trimming operations.

The role focuses on teamwork, reporting in the state inventory system, and delivering a premium, seedless product while maintaining cleanliness and compliance. Weekend/shift flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high‑quality product.
• Exceptional hand‑eye coordination and able to use small hand tools.
• Able to pass background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and weighs cannabis flower, and unusable plant material for input into inventory tracking.
• Trains and develops the Processing department team.
• Establishes a focused, positive work culture while monitoring productivity, quality, and consistency.
• Drives efficiencies while meeting daily and weekly goals set by supervisors.
• Assists the Assistant Manager(s) with hiring of new team members.
• Responsible for inventory and documentation of all products including waste.
• Ensures quality control post‑harvest for a clean, seedless, pest‑ and pathogen‑free product.
• Maintains cleanliness of processing equipment/areas and sanitation practices.
• Reports mold, pests, or pathogens to the Processing Manager.
• Fosters a positive work environment and curiosity for “everything cannabis”.
