Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist (Construction Sales) in Westfield, MA to lead repair and renovation projects for post-frame buildings.

The role blends sales, estimating, scheduling, and on-site execution to extend building life and adapt structures for new purposes. The position requires extensive construction knowledge, project management, and strong communication with customers, crews, and management.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive construction experience or 3 years in post-frame construction.
• Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Strong supervision, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards for materials and methods.
• Ability to identify and resolve repair complaints.
• Self-motivated with high-energy work ethic.
• Capable of working with a team.
• Ability to sell additional repair opportunities.
• Intermediate level computer skills with Excel & Word.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Valid DOT license is highly desired.
• Limited overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Generate repair leads through cold calling or on-site contacts.
• Assist in pricing, defining scope, writing contracts for repair work.
• Ensure contracts and invoices are submitted promptly.
• Coordinate repair deliveries with customers and schedulers.
• Perform small repairs independently where safe.
• Arrange pre-construction conferences and review documents.
• Adhere to job schedules and priorities.
• Maintain quality control and workmanship per specs.
• Enforce safety compliance on site.
• Attend training for Lock out/Tag out procedures.
• Collect down and final payments.
• Submit completion paperwork and assist as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
