Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist (Construction Sales) to join our nationwide team. This role blends sales, estimating, scheduling and on-site project completion across post-frame construction.

You will generate repair leads, prepare contracts, coordinate deliveries, manage schedules and ensure quality and safety on job sites. Valid driver's license and DOT credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive construction experience or 3 years in post-frame construction.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Strong supervision, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of materials and methods for construction.
• Ability to resolve repair complaints promptly.
• Integrity and ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Self-motivated with high-energy work ethic.
• Team player with others.

Responsibilities

• Generate repair leads through cold calling or on-site contacts.
• Define scope of work and write contracts for repair work.
• Ensure contracts and invoices are submitted promptly.
• Coordinate repair deliveries with customer, schedulers and crew foreman.
• Perform small repairs safely without extra help.
• Arrange pre-construction conferences and review safety plans.
• Maintain adherence to job schedules and priorities.
• Manage repair progress and ensure quality and specs compliance.
• Enforce on-site safety compliance.
• Attend training for lockout/tagout on electrical issues.
• Collect down and final payments.
• Submit completion paperwork and assist as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
