Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist (Construction Sales) who blends sales, estimating, scheduling, and project completion across Morton buildings and other brands.

You will generate repair leads, price work, write contracts, and coordinate deliveries on site with crews and managers. The role requires strong communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects while ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and timely completions.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive construction experience or 3 years of experience in post-frame construction.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Strong supervision, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards for materials and methods.
• Ability to identify and resolve repair complaints promptly.
• Integrity and ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Self-motivated with high-energy work ethic.
• Capable of working well with other team members.
• Ability to sell additional repair opportunities.
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid DOT license highly desired.
• Limited overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Generate repair leads through cold calling or on-site contacts.
• Establish or assist in pricing, define scope of work, write contracts, and generate material lists and invoices.
• Ensure all contracts and invoices are submitted and processed promptly.
• Coordinate repair deliveries with the customer, schedulers, regional service manager and crew foreman.
• Perform small repairs independently when safe to do so.
• Arrange and conduct pre-construction conferences and review contract documents and safety plans.
• Establish and ensure adherence to job schedules and priorities.
• Maintain quality control and manage repair progress per specifications.
• Enforce safety compliance on the job site.
• Attend training for Lockout/Tagout procedures for electrical issues on site.
• Collect down and final payments.
• Submit completion paperwork to Field Service Administrator and assist as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
