Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer (level 1) or Systems Engineer (level 2) to join the Post Flight Data Analysis team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel Program.

You will analyze flight data, develop tools, and interact with customers to define requirements and deliver results. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree, experience with C++, Python, and MATLAB, and are capable of performing system analysis, modeling, and simulation tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis for development of analytical tools.
• Modify existing post-flight analysis tools written in MATLAB and C++.
• Develop modernized tools based on legacy Fortran tools.
• Conduct flight test data analysis including trajectory estimation and GPS processing.
• Assess system performance, requirements, verification and validation.
• Create technical reports and present analysis results.
• Interface with internal and external customers.
