Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring for an Associate Systems Engineer (level 1) / Systems Engineer (level 2) to join the Post Flight Data Analysis team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel Program. The role requires active DoD clearance and work related to ICBM systems.

Responsibilities include tool development, data analysis, and reporting, with a typical 9/80 schedule and potential relocation benefits. Opportunities span land, sea, air, and space domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 2 years of experience for Systems Engineer level; associate level requires STEM degree.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval.
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB.
• Experience with Systems Engineering (SE) or Modeling and Simulation & Analysis (MS&A).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis for analytical tools development.
• Modify existing post-flight analysis tools written in MATLAB and C++.
• Develop modernized tools based on legacy Fortran tools.
• Conduct flight test data analysis including trajectory estimation and GPS processing.
• Assess system performance, verification, validation, and integration activities.
• Prepare technical reports and present analysis results.
• Interface with internal and external customers.
