Post-doctoral research position in Division of Cardiology at University of Maryland, Baltimore
A full time Post-Doctoral fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Bradley Maron in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.
The laboratory's research applies network medicine and systems biology approaches to uncover the pathobiological mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases with the following in vitro and in vivo studies using disease models and cutting-edge research laboratory techniques. Current postdoctoral position will be focused on the pathophysiology of endothelial cells in pulmonary arterial hypertension. The qualified candidates must be in the process of completing or obtained a PhD in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline with an interest in cardiovascular field and a strong track record of publications. Background in experimental vascular research and experience in endothelial cell biology is a plus.
