The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences will hire a postdoctoral fellow to support implementation research within grant-funded maternal health projects. This opportunity is ideal for quantitative or mixed-methods researchers who desire to have a positive impact on maternal health while strengthening their expertise and publication record in implementation research, quality improvement, and health behavior. The fellow will contribute to conceptualizing research questions from project and study data, analyzing data, and developing manuscripts for publication. The fellow will also contribute to designing and operationalizing data collection for evaluation of program activities. The fellow will join a dynamic and interdisciplinary team with collaborators across the UAMS College of Public Health, the UAMS Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, the Arkansas Perinatal Quality Collaborative, and the Arkansas Center for Women’s and Infants Health. The team partners closely with state agencies and external healthcare organizations. The fellow will be hired for an initial term of approximately 18 months, with opportunities to extend contingent on funding.

Doctoral degree in public health, social/behavioral sciences, or a related field required.
