Qualifications

• Six months of healthcare experience minimum.
• One year of Epic User experience.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to change.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients at bedside or telephonically to schedule outpatient follow-ups.
• Coordinate patient availability and clinic schedules, potentially rescheduling appointments.
• Document all patient encounters in the EMR accurately.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for order clarifications.
• Perform general office duties and handle sensitive information securely.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and duties as assigned.
