Job summary

Fulton Bank is seeking a Commercial Post-Closing Specialist to perform comprehensive reviews of executed loan packages, ensuring documentation aligns with approvals, policies and regulatory requirements. You will validate terms, collateral, and perfection steps, coordinate with fulfillment and compliance teams, and monitor open items through completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial post closing, due diligence, loan servicing, or loan operations
• 2+ years hands-on experience in loan document review, condition fulfillment, lien perfection and collateral management
• 2+ years experience with loan origination systems such as nCino, documentation and workflow systems such as Nautilus, and core banking systems
• 2+ years experience with exception tracking and document monitoring processes
• Proficiency with loan origination systems such as nCino and core operating systems such as FiServ Signature management
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and post closing conditions, ensuring proper documentation compliance
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan reporting
• Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to monitor and manage post-closing pipeline
• Ability to work with multiple departments to ensure smooth post-closing workflow
• Knowledge of closing policies, funding policies, underwriting requirements, government and agency requirements, and automated processing systems
• Knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes

Responsibilities

• Works independently and prioritizes a high volume of work
• Validate terms and conditions of new loan/modification requests including collateral review
• Conduct self-review to ensure accuracy and escalate when needed
• Ensure all loan documents are present, executed, and compliant
• Verify insurance requirements and collateral protection
• Perform data audits before booking loans to core system
• Initiate collateral management activities
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain missing documents
• Provide guidance to lenders regarding commercial loans
• Ensure post-closing activities comply with regulations and policies
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and procedures
