Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Research Administrator II (Post Award) to oversee a full sponsored research post-award portfolio. You will manage finances, reporting, and compliance for awarded projects, ensuring alignment with sponsor and institutional policies.

The role includes collaboration with PI's, HR, and Research Finance, and offers a hybrid work model within a growing health system focused on impact and learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with education/experience alignment for research administration.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in research administration, preferably post-award.
  • Strong knowledge of federal funding policies and related compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary post-award service contact for PIs, departments and sponsors.
  • Manage finances of sponsored projects for assigned divisions and programs.
  • Prepare financial summaries and reports in a lay reader-friendly format.
  • Allocate salaries to sponsored projects per award guidelines and approve related paperwork.
  • Collaborate with HR on performance evaluations and salary adjustments.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure budget compliance and timely reporting.
  • Close sponsored accounts and coordinate with Research Finance on deficits and closeouts.
  • Provide regulatory trainings and ensure compliance with IRB/IACUC/FCOI as applicable.
