Summit Medical Center in Edmond, OK is seeking a dedicated PACU nurse to deliver postoperative care in the recovery unit. You will assess patients, monitor recovery from anesthesia, and determine discharge readiness in collaboration with the surgical team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Oklahoma RN licensure, current BLS, and ACLS within one year. Prior PACU experience is preferred. The role is day shift and full-time with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification; ACLS required within one year of employment.
• Previous PACU experience preferred.

• Ensures PACU environment is clean, safe, and therapeutic for patients.
• Monitors recovery from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Admits patients to the unit and assesses nursing needs.
• Performs required nursing activities and follows physician orders.
• Explains procedures to reduce patient anxiety and ensures documentation is accurate.
