NYC Administration for Children’s Services is seeking a Post Adoption Subsidy Supervisor to oversee the Post Adoption Subsidy Unit, including amendments, payee changes, and ICAMA referrals. The role ensures compliance, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery to adoptive families in New York City.

The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports. ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services and provides subsidized childcare vouchers. ACS child protection staff respond to allegations of child maltreatment. In juvenile justice, ACS oversees detention, placement, and programs for youth in the community.
The ACS Office of Adoption & KinGAP Support Services (AKSS), within the Division of Family Permanency Services (FPS), is committed to promoting timely permanency for children in foster care by increasing permanency outcomes, reducing lengths of stay in foster care, and providing comprehensive post-adoption support services to families.
FPS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with extensive knowledge of the Adoption Subsidy process to serve as the Post Adoption Subsidy Supervisor. In this role, the selected candidate will provide oversight and supervision of the Post-Adoption Subsidy and Amendments Unit operations, including subsidy amendments, payee changes, Interstate Compact on Adoption and Medical Assistance (ICAMA) referrals, and other post-adoption related processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality service delivery to adoptive families.
The Post Adoption Subsidy Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
