Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services is seeking a senior-level coding and compliance leader to define and maintain the master manuals across SNF, Home Health, and LTC. The role will design standardized workflows and create enterprise-ready accelerators to ensure consistent delivery and reimbursement.

You will lead audits, drive root-cause analyses, and develop certification programs for post-acute hires, serving as SME for complex coding decisions and acting as the software owner for coding

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of progressive experience in medical coding, auditing, and compliance in SNF/Home Health/LTC.
• Client-facing roles in pre-sales support, solution architecture, or functional delivery leadership within a BPO/outsourcing context.
• Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS, MDS/RAI and PDPM/PDGM models, OASIS-E and PDGM models, and survey readiness and documentation standards.
• Strong understanding of CMS regulations, payer policies, HIPAA compliance, and audit frameworks (RAC, MAC, ADR).
• Active AHIMA (CCS, RHIA, RHIT) or AAPC (CPC) credentials.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the master coding manual for SNF, Home Health, and LTC.
• Design standardized workflows for delivery teams to ensure consistency.
• Create solution accelerators (templates, query forms, checklists) for enterprise use.
• Design the Audit Framework (the scorecard) to measure coding accuracy.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis when accuracy drops below 95% and plan corrective actions.
• Develop Curriculum and Certification requirements for post-acute hires.
