Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Social Services Director to lead the Social Services department, ensuring the emotional and social needs of patients are met in compliance with laws and Life Care standards. The role requires a state license, a Bachelor's degree for larger facilities, and experience in healthcare social work.

You will hire and supervise staff, advocate for patients, and coordinate with families and community resources.

Qualificações

• Active state license in good standing
• Bachelor’s degree for 120+ bed facilities
• Two years healthcare social work experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Implement a social services program meeting patients' medically related social and emotional needs and comply with guidelines
• Act as patient advocate and educate staff on patient rights
• Chart patient records appropriately and timely
• Assist patients and families with education, financial planning, and liaison with community agencies
• Recruit, select, hire, train, evaluate, counsel, and supervise social services staff
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Life Care policies and Code of Conduct
