Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for the Post Acute Brain Injury Program. The OT will evaluate and treat patients with neurological and complex conditions as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize independence, safety, and quality of life.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Texas OT license, and at least one year in neurorehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Requires thorough knowledge of human development, anatomy & physiology, and kinesiology.
• Familiarity with neurodevelopment treatment and motor control in neurological conditions.
• Understanding neurological dysfunction and its impact on occupational performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment planning, and interventions for patients in neurorehabilitation.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary rehab team to maximize independence and safety.
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to improve functional performance and quality of life.
