Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN to support the Post Acute Brain Injury Program. The OT will evaluate, plan treatment and provide therapeutic interventions to improve physical and mental functioning.

As part of a rehabilitation team, the OT focuses on maximizing independence, safety, and quality of life for patients with neurological and medically complex conditions.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of human development, anatomy and physiology, kinesiology.
• Understanding of neurodevelopment treatment and motor control.
• Knowledge of traumatic brain injury and neurological evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an efficient and professional manner.
• Perform comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize independence and safety.
• Help patients improve function and quality of life through evidence-based OT.
