Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital seeks a Post Acute Administrator to lead the Extended Care Unit, ensuring high-quality resident care and alignment with hospital objectives. The role demands 24/7 oversight and collaboration with physicians, staff, and other departments.

Minimum experience includes 3 years in related roles with 1–2 years in management; a Bachelor’s in healthcare administration is required, Master’s preferred, and SNF admin license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Nursing home administrator experience preferred and SNF administrator license

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Extended Care Unit with 24/7 accountability and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Lead and direct operations ensuring high quality of resident care while achieving facility business objectives.
• Oversee scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Coordinate patient care with patients, staff, physicians and other departments; provide patient care when necessary.
