Job summary

San Joaquin Delta College is seeking an instructor for the POST Academy to assist in the instruction of Firearms, Arrest and Control, and Lifetime Fitness courses. Qualifications

• Must possess a certificate of completion from a POST Firearms Instructor course or equivalent.
• Experience relevant to accepted law enforcement practices of field tactics and procedures.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds and differences of students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the instruction of Firearms courses and/or Arrest and Control and/or EVOC.
• Assist students in achieving stated course objectives.
• Coordinate with other Academy staff in the implementation of instructional materials.
